What Service Means to Us

One afternoon I left my business card with the owner of a franchise restaurant that I frequent. A couple of months later the owner calls me and asks if I can help him re-finance his business.

'Absolutely.'

So I met with the owners - a husband and wife - and we talked about where I can assist them. They both told me that their monthly payments were quite high and that some months they had a hard time paying bills and employees’ wages. At that time the client’s monthly payments were roughly $20,000 per month.

I requested 2 years of their business financial statements and their personal net-worth statements to review and see how I could best serve them. After reviewing all of their financials and meeting with the clients, we found the owners had a wealth of experience in the restaurant industry; not to mention they also had an extremely loyal and long-term staff. Their financial statement was strong and they managed a very well-run organization with plenty of internal support.

We talked to a few lenders, sent each of them a proposal letter, and got a response from one of the major Canadian banks. The bank ended up financing the deal at a very low interest-rate. The deal dropped their monthly payment to $5,000 per month.
